The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards tied with the 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert to receive the award for Best Sound Mixing for a Music Series or Special at the 2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Aug. 21 in Los Angeles.
The "We're All Fans" website for the advertising campaign created by The Recording Academy and TBWA\Chiat\Day in support of the 52nd GRAMMY Awards has been nominated for a Webby Award in the Best Visual Design — Aesthetic category.
The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards drove a 3.3 percent increase in album sales compared to last week, according to a Billboard report. The 2010 GRAMMY Nominees album jumped to No. 5 with sales of 71,000 units, a 55 percent increase.
When country music meets the GRAMMY Awards, it's always interesting to see the "family" commingled with artists of other popular genres. Even when you drop Taylor Swift into the mix, it seems to bring the best "country girl" out of her.
The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards posted the highest ratings for Music's Biggest Night since 2004 with an average audience of 25.8 million viewers, up 35 percent from last year's telecast, and marked increases across key demographics, according to preliminary ratings results from Nielsen.
